SOLE interested in South Side Small Business and Community Development

Chuck Lynd recently met with Bob Leighty of PAMA, branding consultants Liz Samuelson and Jason Moore of Fulcrum Creatives, and Cheryl Huffman and Jennifer Saunier of the Neighborhood Design Center. This was an initial planning meeting (held at Planks Cafe) to discuss ways to promote the Parsons Avenue Commercial Corridor and communicate some of the exciting potential for development on the South Side.

Readers may recall the Mayor announced in his state of the city address that the city will invest several million dollars in the South Side this year. “We want to promote a healthy South Side, physically and economically,” he said March 12, 2012. “It will be the anchor for additional economic opportunities on that strip.” Columbus Dispatch article, Thursday March 14, 2012.
