Clintonville began its first mid-week evening market on July 11. “Slow Down Wednesdays,” which is a partnership of Clintonville Farmers’ Market, Global Gallery, and Slow Food Columbus, will run eight consecutive Wednesdays through August 29, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the same site as the Saturday Clintonville Farmers’ Market at N. High St. and W. Dunedin Road.
Slow Down Wednesdays is an outdoor farmers’ market offering customers the chance to shop mid-week for high-season produce. The market focus is on cooking, meal preparation and market staples, which include locally-grown and produced fruits and vegetables, artisan breads and baked goods, meats, cheese and eggs, honey, and flowers. Producers include some participants of the ongoing Saturday market and also new ones such as OSU Student Farm.
