Meet the celebrated, independent journalist Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!, the award winning independent news program heard on over 1000 radio stations nationally (locally on WCRS-FM 98.3 and 102.1) and streamed world-wide. Goodman’s new book, The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope, is co-authored by Denis Moynihan with an introduction by Michael Moore. This timely new sequel to Goodman’s New York Times bestseller of the same name gives voice to the many ordinary people standing up to corporate and government power—and refusing to be silent.
