July 19 Fixing the Future Documentary Showing at the Gateway

In Fixing the Future, host David Brancaccio (of public radio’s Marketplace and NOW on PBS) visits locations across America that are using sustainable and innovative approaches to create jobs and build prosperity, inspiring hope and renewal amidst economic collapse.

Screenings for Fixing The Future are opening nationwide in more than 80 cities on July 18 and 19. This film shows how the future is creating sustainable communities and highlights people, communities, and local practices such as business alliances, time banking, cooperatives and localized banking.  In Columbus, the film will be shown Thursday, July 19 at the Gateway Film Center, 1550 N. High St, Columbus OH 43201.  Film starts at 7:30 pm and a mixer with local entrepreneurs will be held at the Gateway from 6 – 7:30 pm.
